Today's window comes courtesy of @belletidy who pointed it out to me. Although not a great Shakespeare scholar like her, I do love a bit of Bard so this took my fancy.
This is Shakespeare's window
the window that, until the mid 1990s, lived in the ‘birthroom’ of the place where he was born. The window has come to have a special significance in its own right in that it stands as a testimony to the pilgrimage of so many people here down so many years and speaks a great deal to us about what Shakespeare meant to them. This is because a great many people autographed them, using a diamond ring!
I wonder who would sign a window at my birthplace, and what might they say?
