This beautiful window is on the stairs.
It's great in the winter as it lets light in but not so good in the summer as it's very very long (that's only half of it!)
Great place to put cuddles too. The elephant and tiger seems to have disappeared though..

This afternoon we went to see Steve Backshall (complete with cage on his foot) at Birmingham Town Hall.
Here, the boys enjoy a swift drink from the bar before we went in!

Can't leave my Barcelona 'windows' without this one - the lift that is passing into legend as the quaintest, scariest thing ever. Like something in an old fashioned film noir, my colleague Sarah and I squeezed in it every time we went up to the flat - but used the stairs on the way down!

Disproving the saying 'The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain' - or the plane even!
It bucketed down on Thursday last week!

As we climbed into the sky above Barcelona, the view was just beautiful.
Sea, sun and sky.
Breathtaking.

Left Barcelona today - but pretty certain that the window pictures will continue for a while!
A special one today, taken from the window onto the centre of the block - a beautiful old building. Look at the tiles and the ironwork!

Wandering around Barcelona last night in search of somewhere to eat - the elves had sabotaged our plans to eat in the fairy wood :o( - I found 'my' bar!
Last time I was in Barcelona I found 'my' sports shop.
Wonder what it'll be next time?

Today's picture was taken from the kitchen window of the apartment and is of the school next door.
I was hoping to take a photograph of them playing in the yard but it was raining :o(

It's got shutters and everything!

A little behind with posting my windows this week as I went straight from Southampton to Barcelona with a very short stop off at home, and not enough time to load my photos.
Rest assured, normal service will resume shortly - and I've got several windows to post today!
Firstly, puppets at the ILILC conference in Southampton.

I took this out of the train window somewhere between Oxford and Basingstoke! I think!

I'm a bit late with yesterday's window as it's now today. Oops!
However, better late than never.

I nipped across town to Paganel Primary School this afternoon to sign some paperwork for TeachMeetBrum, and saw the room where it'll all happen.
Very exciting!
This was taken on the way back in the city centre. Like the way the sun reflects on that building!

Feeling rather yuck today so cheering myself up by going back into the archives.
Also aposite as I've been booking flights and accommodation for a colleague and me to go to Barcelona in ten days time.
A window from Parc Güell in Barcelona. A magical place and I love the tiles around the window - they look iike those liquorice allsorts jelly sweets that I like!
And can you see the reflections of other visitors in teh glass over the shutters.

A window on my school world today.
This was taken during an audit of Spanish within the school before Christmas. No room on the walls for Spanish? The teacher has started using the window! And the lad that sits in the chair you can just about see has the job of updating the calendar.

NewHall is a beautiful building and I was out to dinner there last night.

Today's window comes courtesy of @belletidy who pointed it out to me. Although not a great Shakespeare scholar like her, I do love a bit of Bard so this took my fancy.
This is Shakespeare's window
the window that, until the mid 1990s, lived in the ‘birthroom’ of the place where he was born. The window has come to have a special significance in its own right in that it stands as a testimony to the pilgrimage of so many people here down so many years and speaks a great deal to us about what Shakespeare meant to them. This is because a great many people autographed them, using a diamond ring!
I wonder who would sign a window at my birthplace, and what might they say?

Whoops! Forgot to press post!
A window on my world today taken as I did my Mummy-duty and dropped youngest off at Brass Band rehearsal.
