My Dad's 65th birthday - 5 years ago. Good to remember 5 years later, and made me smile to see the window into the conservatory at Mum and Dad's (as it always will be!) through which we often watch the kids when they're 'exiled' so that we can eat in peace ;o)

My dear friend Viv sent me this picture - I hope she doesn't mind me sharing it! Makes me think of my home town - in a good, not a sad way! I <3 Sutton Coldfield!

I had a major tidy today as an estate agent was coming around, so I thought I'd take pictures of my immaculate house for posterity and future gazing!
So the next week will be made up of the literal windows through which I have viewed the world for the last 10 years.

Family get together at my childhood home today. This is the view from my bedroom window. Hasn't been my bedroom for 17 years - it was 'Grandma and Grandpa's nursery' when my kids were little but it's still mine really! ;o)

Jude decided to go into construction mode today - and here's the output. A solar puppy. He's very proud of him. When the panel catches rays, the puppy's tail spins. Very cute!
